The Story of My Clothes

I remain at 145lbs and I am sooo proud that I have been able to maintain my weight loss. No up and down and up and down. My new plan is to stay at 145lbs for the next few months. I decided this because I am at a point where I am enjoying my new clothes that are a few sizes smaller, and I can still wear all my other clothes. I am concerned that if I lose more weight, I will lose half my wardrobe and this was the motivation in my quest for weight maintenance in the first place. Having only one wardrobe.

This is the most choices I have had in clothes and I fit into all of them. This past week I brought out some clothes I had packed away because they no longer fit. They Fit! It was awesome! Clothes I had bought when I was at a lower weight … for like two weeks. Then they would sit in my closet for a few months then they would move to a storage bin. Well I am glad I kept them because I am wearing them now.

This all started when I decided to simplify my life and purge (my new favourite word) the extras. I had way too many clothes and I could only actually wear about half because that is all that fit me. What a waste of space, and resources. Someone else can use these. So I needed to make a choice and throw out the smaller sizes.. no way some of these clothes are brand new. So the only choice is to lose weight and maintain it and donate the larger size clothes.
