Keeping It Together
This week has been challenging. This of course is the week before my period. I have noticed I have lots of cravings for high sugar, high fat foods during this time and I want to eat all the time. Could this be a cycle I start when I first eat that sugary, fatty food? Am I destined to repeat this pattern all day only to give me a lift after I crash everytime?
I am continuing to exercise as I am still on a maintenance plan, however, I struggle with the mentality that if I am eating lots then why bother exercising.
I have to remind myself that I need to continue to exercise as scheduled for many reasons.
#1) because it is part of my life!!
#2) it is important to keep the routine of exercising regularly (Even if I am not wanting to lose pounds)
#3) exercising allows me to eat more calories and nutrients in a day and not gain weight. (Good for Christmas Parties.)
#4) helps to maintain cardio and strength.
These need to become habits...
Drink water, water, water, water
Get plenty of sleep.
Plan meals and shopping weekly.
Keep journal every couple of days.
Update training journal regularly.
Develop boundaries around computer and TV time.
Spend time organizing everday.
JUST DO IT. Do it right away, don't put things off. Do them as soon as I think of it. I'll be happy I did. Nike is right.
